The Burgmannenhaus was built around 1500 by Boppo Ganz von Otzberg. A renovation took place in 1572.
Architecture+
Exterior
The Burgmannenhaus is a two-story stone building with a high gabled roof. The facade is characterized by several bay windows and a richly decorated portal.
Interior
Inside, the building has a large hall on the ground floor and several smaller rooms on the upper floor. Original wooden beams and wall paintings have been preserved in some rooms.
Current Use+
Today, the Burgmannenhaus houses a museum that presents the history of the building and the region. Regular cultural events also take place here.
