History of the Building+

The main building was erected in 1725 by order of Karl Josef von Eiselsberg on the grounds of the noble manor Alt-Traunegg. In 1807, the manufacturer Samuel Vogl from Mulhouse in Alsace bought the entire property. In 1845, the building was converted into an oil factory, and later the property housed several different factories. Since 2010, part of the city archive has been located here.
