Oberhof Manor (Büdingen)
The noble residence Oberhof in Büdingen is a manor and estate house, considered the oldest Renaissance building in the city.
History+
The Oberhof complex was constructed between 1569 and 1570. The builders were Count Georg zu Ysenburg and Barbara Countess von Wehrtheim, who commissioned the Franconian master builder Conrad Leonhard. For several generations, the Oberhof served the Ysenburg family as a residence and dower house. In 1959, the city of Büdingen acquired the property. After renovation, it now houses a music and art school.

The Oberhof hosts a music and art school. The former utility buildings, such as the stable and the small hall, serve as venues for readings, concerts, and art exhibitions.
