The building, recently named "Alter Herrensitz" (Old Manor), appears in 16th-century sources as the Groland seat near the church. In the 16th century, it was still known that once – probably in the 15th century – an Anton Tucher had sold the so-called seat by the churchyard to Wolf Groland.
