The Amphitheater of Fréjus is located in the southern French city of Fréjus. Originally built in the 1st century, it once served as a central venue.
History+
The construction of the Fréjus Amphitheater took place in the 1st century AD. With a capacity of around 12,000 spectators, it was a structure for the Roman city of Forum Julii. In more recent times, the arena has also been used for major rock concerts, hosting artists such as Queen and David Bowie.

The amphitheater is situated in Fréjus, a city in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region of France, at an elevation of approximately 7 meters above sea level.
