The ancient city of Tabai, whose remains are still visible today, was once a settlement in the historical region of Caria. Located on the border with Phrygia and Pisidia.

History+

Tabai was an ancient city in Asia Minor, situated in the Caria region and bordering the adjacent areas of Phrygia and Pisidia. It was located on a hill, with a plain named after the city extending to its north, containing other smaller settlements. During the Roman era, from the 1st century BC to the 3rd century AD, Tabai had the right to mint its own coins.
