The Antonite Monastery in Nördlingen was founded in 1393. Johann Barucher, a preceptor of the Antonite Order from Memmingen, initiated the establishment of this monastery, dedicated to Saint Anthony, after receiving permission from the Nördlingen city council. The monastery was affiliated with the Diocese of Augsburg. Its existence is documented until October 13, 1520, after which records of its presence cease.
