The Antonite Preceptory of St. Anthony in Tempzin is a former monastery located in the district of Ludwigslust-Parchim in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The church and several other buildings and ruins of the original complex are still preserved today and are protected as a historical monument.

History+

The Antonite settlement in Tempzin was founded in 1247. It was dedicated to Saint Anthony the Hermit and served as a preceptory and hospital. In the course of the Reformation, the monastery was secularized and dissolved in 1552.

The former monastery is situated in the Tempzin district of the municipality of Kloster Tempzin, near the town of Brüel, in the federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany.
