Auferstehungs Church

A first chapel building is presumed to have existed around 1150, its floor plan uncovered during renovations around 1900. The church is mentioned as early as 1206 through the priest “Johann de Plawen,” who served as a witness in a legal dispute. During the Hussite Wars in 1429, the structure was destroyed. In 1466, reconstruction and an eastward extension took place, and the church received its tower. After the introduction of the Reformation in 1539, it lost its independence. Between 1610 and 1617, the church was renovated and extended northwards at the expense of the community, with a baptismal font being donated in 1617.
