Barbury Castle is an Iron Age hillfort in Wiltshire, England. This ancient site was constructed around 600 BC.

The origins of Barbury Castle date back to the Iron Age, when a Celtic tribe established the fortification around 600 BC. It likely served as protection against neighboring tribes. The site is characterized by up to four concentric ring ramparts, separated by ditches, which in some places show a height difference of over 8 meters. In the west and east, there are breaches that served as entrances, with the eastern entrance additionally secured by two smaller, semicircular rings.
