History+

The city palace was built in 1523 on the city wall of Biecz. Initially, the castle was fortified with loopholes. In 1557, Mayor Marcin Rokicki acquired the palace and set up a pharmacy there. Afterwards, it changed owners several times, but retained its Renaissance character with an attic and frieze. Today it houses a museum.
