Büsing-Palace (Offenbach)

The palace's origins date back to the second half of the 18th century, when manufacturers Peter Bernard and Johann Georg d'Orville commissioned a manor house with a landscaped garden. In 1775, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe also spent a summer here with Lili Schönemann. At the end of the 19th century, Baron Adolf von Büsing acquired the property and commissioned architect Wilhelm Manchot to transform it into a Neo-Baroque city palace, to which it owes its current name.
