Adenbach Castle

Adenbach Castle is located in Ahrweiler, a district of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler in the Ahrweiler district of Rhineland-Palatinate.
The castle dates back to a manor house from the late Middle Ages, which came into the possession of Baron von Loë in the 19th century. In the 1930s, the building housed a youth hostel. Since extensive renovation measures in the late 1980s, it has housed a hotel with a restaurant.

The quarry stone building, partly with half-timbering, has an octagonal tower. In 1903, the old building was largely redesigned and adapted to modern needs during the renovation measures in the late 1980s. The elongated two-story residential building has a stepped gable on the eaves side and on the western narrow side.
