Borgholz Castle

Pension

To be privately owned

The original castle was built at the end of the 13th century. Its owners included the Bishops of Paderborn and the von Detten family. Around 1840, the old castle was demolished, but the current building was only completed in 1922/23. Today, only the well and some wall remains in the barn bear witness to the original complex.
