The Historic Building+
History and Architecture+
The former moated castle from the 16th century consists of a 4-winged brick courtyard with a 2-story residential wing in non-continuous axes. In the two-story gatehouse there is a gate made of sandstone ashlar with a coat of arms. The residential wing changed in the 19th century, the coat of arms inscription "Raetz-von-Frenz" "Selbach-von-Loe" has been preserved to this day. The outer bailey and the former manor house were demolished and replaced by a barn in 1933.
