Godorf Castle
Godorf Castle, a historic moated castle complex, is situated on the western edge of Wesseling's Berzdorf district in the Rhein-Erft-Kreis. Together with the Godorfer Hof, it forms an ensemble that today houses a restaurant.
History+
The Godorfer Hof was first documented in 1173 as property of the Schwarzrheindorf Collegiate Church. The current castle building likely originated in 1871, as evidenced by an inscription in one of its wing structures.
