Gradačac Castle stands in the city of the same name. Its origins date back to Roman times.
History+
The current Gradačac Castle was built on the foundations of a Roman fort. Between 1765 and 1821, the 18-meter-high walls were constructed. A decisive event in its history was the year 1831, when the Turkish occupiers were successfully expelled, giving the castle a symbolic meaning for Bosnian history.

Gradačac Castle is located in the city of Gradačac in the Tuzla district within the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is situated at an elevation of approx. 148 meters above sea level.
