The Castle of Lüchigen+

The castle of Lüchigen, with its projecting half-timbered upper structure, was built between 1361 and 1375 by the nobles of Altstätten. It remained untouched during the Appenzell War and changed ownership several times as a monastery fief. Since 1639, it has been owned by the Enck family.
