Schermbeck Castle
Schermbeck Castle, also known as Schermbeck Water Castle, is a moated castle in the municipality of Schermbeck (Burgstraße) in the district of Wesel in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The moated castle was built around 1300 as a Kleve state castle and was destroyed, damaged, and rebuilt multiple times, and first mentioned in 1319. The castle is privately owned and inhabited.
