Stockhausen Castle, also known as Haus Stockhausen, is a moated castle on the southwestern edge of the village of Stockhausen. Its history dates back at least to the 14th century, although its exact beginnings are obscure. The complex has a structure surrounded by a moat and a historic manor house.

The origins of Stockhausen Castle can be traced back at least to the 14th century. At that time, the castle was owned by the Kyllfois family. In 1411, it passed into the possession of the Knights of Westorp. Through the marriage of the heiress Anna Margaretha von Westorp to Dietrich von der Recke in the first quarter of the 17th century, the castle passed to the von der Recke family. This family sold the complex in 1979 to Hans-Werner Schürmann, who had the then dilapidated buildings extensively restored. The current manor house was built at the end of the 17th century, incorporating older building fabric, as evidenced by a coat of arms stone from 1699. The gatehouse dates from 1672.
