Volperhausen Castle is a castle complex in the Oberbergischer Kreis. It is located in the village of Volperhausen, part of the municipality of Morsbach in North Rhine-Westphalia.

History+

The first documented mention of Volperhausen Castle dates back to 1462, although other sources cite the beginning of the 16th century. Originally designed as a lowland castle with a rectangular layout and a stair tower, this complex was completely destroyed during the Thirty Years' War. Reconstruction took place in 1682. Various renovation works were carried out in the 20th century.
