Schwabenhaus Castle
The Burgmannansitz Schwabenhaus in Adenau-Aremberg is an example of Baroque architecture. As a former residence of a burgmann, it is connected to the nearby Aremberg Castle.
History+
The Schwabenhaus was completed in 1749. This two-story Baroque building, crowned by a mansard hip roof, is characterized by its two by three window axes. A double coat of arms, also bearing the year 1749, refers to the Lersch family. Together with its coach house, the building is now designated as a protected architectural monument.

The Schwabenhaus is located in Adenau-Aremberg in the Ahrweiler district, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It stands at an elevation of approximately 548 meters above sea level, at Burgstraße 4, directly on the ascent to Aremberg Castle.
