Nassau-Sporkenburger Hof Manor

The core of the three-story building dates back to the 14th century. From 1527 onwards, the Counts of Nassau-Sporkenburg, descendants of the Counts of Helfenstein from Sporkenburg Castle, inhabited the property for almost a century. The brothers Johann and Quirin von Nassau had acquired the Helfenstein estates as early as 1503. This line ended with the death of Heinrich von Nassau-Sporkenburg in 1601. Along with the Heimbachhaus and the Wirtshaus an der Lahn, the Nassau-Sporkenburger Hof is among the last preserved medieval noble courts in Lahnstein.
