The remains of the Castle can be visited

A predecessor building is already mentioned in 1077. In the 14th century, the castle was rebuilt by the Lords of Bettingen. In 1794, the castle was destroyed by French revolutionary troops in the Revolutionary Wars. After this, it served as a quarry.
