The remains of Limpach Castle, a former spur castle, are located on a hill in Deggenhausertal-Homberg in the Bodenseekreis district. Although no documented mentions or finds exist to clearly prove its history, structures are still visible.

The exact period of Limpach Castle's construction is unknown, but it is presumed to have been built in the 12th or 13th century. It is believed to have served as the residence for the local nobility of Limpach, who are mentioned in historical documents around 1170 with an Albertus de Limpach and in 1282 with a Konrad de Lientbach. There is no confirmed information about the castle's subsequent history or its demise.
