Limperich Castle

Limperich Castle is a former castle complex in Limperich, a district of the Bonn borough of Beuel in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The castle was first mentioned in 1285 as the property of a noble family and also served as the seat of the Lords of Limperich. The estate was sold in 1688 to Frank Nesselrode, who transformed it into a baroque manor house.

The castle has undergone many renovations, alterations, relocations, and demolitions, and is therefore no longer an estate today, but rather resembles an ordinary house with a large plot of land. It serves as the seat of the Bonn local chapter of the German Amateur Radio Club (G03) and the Interest Group of Bonn Radio Amateurs for the Promotion of International Understanding and International Spirit (IGBF). The building at Weinbergweg 34 is listed as a protected monument.
