The remains of Neuenriet Castle, once a spur castle, are located on a rocky outcrop near Altenriet in Baden-Württemberg. The historic site served as a Württemberg fiefdom until the 15th century.

History+

Neuenriet Castle was a fiefdom of the House of Württemberg until 1466 and changed hands multiple times among various noble families. It is believed that the castle was destroyed during the Peasants' War in 1525. After its destruction, it was never rebuilt. The last visible parts of the keep were sold and dismantled in 1823, leaving only minor wall remnants today.
