Burg Urhausen+

Urhausen Castle is a lost castle in the area of the Urhausen desert on the northern border of the Bieringen district and the present-day Bieringen district of the municipality of Schöntal in the Hohenlohe district in Baden-Württemberg.

After the Lords of Boxberg were named as owners in 1228, the Lords of Urhausen were named from 1308 to 1505. In 1434, after several changes of ownership, the castle complex was referred to as a castle site and passed to the Lords of Aschhausen.
