Alt-Rechberg Castle
The castle was first mentioned in a document in 1236 and was owned by the Carinthian dukes. In 1255, Ulrich von Rechberg was the owner of the castle. He was followed by the Auffensteiner in 1361. After that, Lasla Prager was the owner of the dominion.
According to Valvasor, the castle, which served as a barrier, was already a ruin in 1688. Today it belongs to Bleiberger Bergwerks-Union AG.
Of the castle, only parts of the pentagonal keep from the first half of the 13th century, as well as late medieval building components, the former neck ditch and two high bridge piers, remain today.
