The castle ruin of Borsh, also known as Kalaja e Borshit, stands high above the coast in Albania.
History+
The origins of Borsh Castle date back to the 4th century BC. In the 6th century AD, the complex underwent expansion and reinforcement under the rule of the Roman Emperor Justinian. In 1431, the castle was captured by the Ottoman Turks.

The castle ruin of Borsh is located in the village of Borsh, in the Saranda district, within the Vlora region of Albania. It is situated at an elevation of approximately 291 meters above sea level.
