Dobra Castle

The remains of the Castle can be visited

Dobra was probably built around the middle of the 12th century. In 1186, the fortified building was first mentioned in a document with Hertnit von Dobra.

In 1341, the Kuenringer of Weitra-Seefeld bought half of the castle. In 1405, Dobra came into the possession of the Lords of Liechtenstein as a dowry.
