The remains of the Castle can be visited

Frauenburg, situated on a rocky spur, was first mentioned around 1248. Ulrich von Liechtenstein had received it as an inheritance from his father.

In 1268, Ulrich lost the castle to King Ottokar, but later regained it. In 1275, his son Otto succeeded him as owner.
