The remains of the Castle can be visited

Above the entrance to the Obersulzbachtal stood the Sulzau Fortress with its tower and defensive wall, today called Friedburg. The "Veste Sulzowe" with its tower and defensive wall was built around the year 1000. The first documented mention of the castle itself dates from 1292.
