The remains of the Castle can be visited

The Haldenberg ruin, also called Haldenburg or Burghalde, is a castle ruin on a high rock cone east of the municipality of Sipplingen in the Bodenseekreis in Baden-Württemberg.

The hilltop castle was built in the 12th century, mentioned in 1291, and destroyed in the Thirty Years' War. Owners of the castle were the families of Haldenberg and Wangen. Remains of the former castle complex are still preserved.
