Hohenburg Castle

The remains of the Castle can be visited

Hohenburg was first mentioned in a document in 1375. Originally belonging to the Ortenburg family, Hohenburg came into the possession of the Counts of Cilli after their extinction in 1418. In 1455, it was pledged by Ulrich of Cilli to Duke Siegmund.
