Hohengerhausen Castle
The Hohengerhausen ruin, also called Rusenschloss, is a castle ruin on a hill above the Gerhausen district of the city of Blaubeuren in the Alb-Donau-Kreis in Baden-Württemberg.
The hilltop castle was built around 1080 by Count Hartmann II of Dillingen, expanded in the 12th and 13th centuries, renovated after 1282, and demolished starting in 1768. Other owners mentioned are the Counts of Helfenstein, as well as Austria and Württemberg. From 1974 to 1977, the ruin was restored.

The former castle complex still shows well-preserved remains of a gate tower on the north side, tower remains, and remains of a keep.
