Honstetten Castle
Honstetten Castle, also known as Spicher, Spiecher (Southern German for "storage") or Alter Turm (Old Tower), is the ruin of a tower castle on a 652.1 m above sea level hill in the center of Honstetten, a district of the municipality of Eigeltingen in the Konstanz district of Baden-Württemberg.
The well-preserved castle tower, presumably built around the turn of the 11th to the 12th century, was first mentioned in a document in 1429. It served as a defensive and residential tower as well as a storage facility. In 1902, the Spicher passed to the municipality of Honstetten and finally into state ownership. Since 1992, the Spicher has been back in private ownership.

The three-story tower is the remnant of a fortified lord's seat. It has a height of 15.5 meters and a base area of 9 by 7 meters.
