The Puricelli Castle+
A "ruin" that became a ruin+
The industrial magnate and ironworks owner Carl Puricelli, who owned, among others, the Rheinböllen ironworks and the Stromberg Neuhütte in the Hunsrück in the mid-19th century, had a hunting lodge and pleasure palace built between Seibersbach and Rheinböllen in the style of a medieval ruin. This "ruin" has now truly become one. It is not signposted anywhere and is otherwise hardly described.
