The remains of the Castle can be visited

Royal castle dated on XIV century, founded by king Casimir the Great. In the end of century Mirów was given to Krystyn Lis, who enlarged the castle. Further owners were Piotr of Bnin and Myszkowski family, who ruled in Mirów for 144 years. Golden period was broken by Swedish troops which destroyed castle in 1655-1657. Castle was finally abandoned in 1787. According to local legends Mirów was connected with nearby Bobolice castle by underground tunnel.
