The Ochsenstall ruin lies in the woods above Baden-Baden-Ebersteinburg, between the Ochsenmatten meadows and the Kellersbild hut, on the historic Chaisenweg that once linked Bad Rotenfels with Baden-Baden. It stands in the wider setting of Alt-Eberstein and Hohenbaden (Altes Schloss).
