Odernheim Castle

The castle was built in the middle of the 12th century by the Lords of Bolanden. In 1286, the castle was first mentioned as "castrum et oppidum in Odernheym". In 1689, the castle was destroyed by French troops in the Palatinate War of Succession. Today, the remains of a round tower, traces of a shield wall with a gate, and a section of wall are preserved.
