The remains of the Castle can be visited

Zin Luotfridus de Risperch is mentioned in documents between 1164 and 1190. Reisberg was originally royal property, which came into the possession of the Archdiocese of Salzburg at the beginning of the 13th century. The first confirmed documentary mention of the castle was in 1241.
