Schiltern (Old) Castle

North of the village, next to the church, rises the so-called Zori Wall. It consists of three preserved walls of a 13th-century refuge castle, partly built in opus spicatum. A rampart and ditch are also preserved to the north and east. The castle is first mentioned in 1100 and was built by the Lords of Schiltern. In 1850, the castle ruin was owned by the Counts of Aichelburg.
