The Stockberg Castle Ruin, a remnant of a hilltop castle in Baden-Württemberg, is one of the highest-situated castle complexes in the region. Its preserved ditches, ramparts, and wall remains.
History+
The origins of the Stockberg rampart castle are presumed to be between the 10th and 12th centuries. The complex, which once encompassed ground dimensions of approximately 40 by 24 meters, met its end as early as the 13th century through destruction.

The Stockberg Castle Ruin is situated on a hilltop northeast of the Blauen summit, near the municipality of Malsburg-Marzell in the district of Lörrach, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It lies at an elevation of approximately 1068 meters above sea level.
