The remains of the Castle can be visited

In a document from Otakar IV, Otto de domesperg is mentioned in 1192. He was a ministerialis of the Styrian Ottokars. His fortified building was probably not located at the site of the present castle. The current complex dates from the mid-13th century. The families Torsäuler or von Ziegersberg are presumed to be the builders.
