The remains of the Castle can be visited

The castle, which is located on a narrow rocky spur above Stall, dates back to the 10th or 11th century. It was first owned by the Diocese of Freising, followed by the Archdiocese of Salzburg as the landlord during the 12th century. The first documented mention of the castle dates from 1197.
