The castle ruin Wolkenstein is situated on the Wolkensteinerberg, an offshoot of the Schiener Berg, above the municipality of Hemishofen in the district of Stein, canton of Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Its location at approximately 573 meters above sea level once offered a wide view over the surrounding area.
