Ziegersberg Castle

The remains of the Castle can be visited

In 1241, a knight Siegfried Zieger, who belonged to the retinue of Leutold von Wildon, is mentioned. In 1256, the Ziegere had Albero von Kuenring, who was married to Gertrud von Wildon, as their feudal lord. Ziegersberg Castle was probably built between 1246 and the beginning of Ottokar's reign.
