About 200 meters from the castle stands the "Burgsinn Castle". The builder was the former Duke of Franconia and Würzburg Prince-Bishop Konrad II von Thüngen. Construction began in 1524, and the castle, also known as "Hohe Kemenate", was completed in 1545 by Andreas VIII von Thüngen.
