Caherconnell Stone Fort
Caherconnell (Irish: Cathair Chonaill, meaning "Conall's stone ringfort") is an ancient and exceptionally well-preserved Celtic stone ringfort in The Burren of County Clare, Ireland. It lies about 1 km south of the Poulnabrone dolmen. This fort and other sites like it would have been dwelt from about 500 to 1500 CE.
From summer 2010, Caherconnell has been home to an archaeological field school where students can learn archaeological techniques from leading archaeologists.
